The BLITZNation had an amazing time at the The Dark Knight Rises premiere at Studio Movie Grill. The night was full of Batfans that came out to show their love for the Caped Crusader and to be the first to check out the end of the Dark Knight Trilogy. There were crazy costumes and big smiles all night long. Hats off to Studio Movie Grill and General Manager Zark Hopkins for letting us have so much fun in the lobby before the show. Zark actually turned out to be quite the Dark Knight fan himself telling us, "it's a lot of excitement and you can see it all on people's faces...and I can't wait to see it."

The 2012 All-Star game was highly anticipated based on the fact that eight Texas Rangers were named to the team for the American League. The fine folks at Pokes Bar & Grill invited us out for a party and they did not disappoint. $1 PBR tallboys and $1 Natural Light in the can were the order of the day. They also had other great drink specials. Their cheese fries are still the best in Dallas! The crowd had a great time and overcame the shock of Justin Verlander giving up five runs in the first inning. The Texas TopCats took the stage and rocked the house after the game. Last Saturday the BLITZNation was invited out to Dirk Notwizki's Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game at Dr. Pepper Ballpark and it was awesome. Before the celebrities got started there was a Heroes Special Olympics All-Star Softball Game and then the Celebrity Home Run Derby. Celebrity players included Dirk Nowitzki, Charles Barkley, Jason Terry, Delonte West, Terrell Owens, Brian Cardinal, Mark Cuban, Rick Carlisle, Ugo Ihemelu (FC Dallas defender), Brek Shea (FC Dallas midfielder), Daryl "Moose" Johnston (former Dallas Cowboys fullback and three-time Super Bowl champion), Roy Williams, Geoff Stults (actor of TV series The Finder and movies The Break-up, Wedding Crashers and J. Edgar), Ben Grieve, Kevin Mench, and Donnie Nelson (Dallas Mavericks president). Here are some pics from the pre-game press conference.
